So the other day I was looking though some supplies in my shelves and I wandered into a blob of sculpty I had bought years ago to make my sister a b-day gift in 2009 (see Clash sculpture). Now seeing as I never do 3D stuff, it kind of got me curious again to try another piece. So I set up some working space and started a mold of Fibble but his legs were not strong enough to support the body and it kept falling over or keeling down from the weight. So I stuck paperclips into him as a skeleton and boom he was standing just fine.
I was about 3/4th done with Fibble when I decided to add Sin to his shoulders and boy was that hard! All the tiny details like sins teeth and ears and tail were very delicate to assemble and build to his body. Anyways I know it’s not perfect but it was pretty fun to do and good practice in a medium I almost never touch.
Size: 7 inches tall
Made with soft polymer, cooked, and painted with acrylics. (and varnished).
And I finally got this art trade done with an online friend named Ryan :) These are her characters Pete and Gung-ho as draw by me haha. She in return is drawing a pic of my characters Fibble and Sin. I had started this as a Photoshop doodle but the tablet just wasn't picking up my stokes as nice as I wanted....so I went the traditional way and drew and inked it myself. I think it came out MUCH more organic :3 I plan to link to her work once she gets something set up like an art blog or da account because her drawings are so cool!

So here are some new posts of things I'd done over the past months. This drawing is a redo attempt. The idea was to scan some character I made when I was a kid and try redrawing them with the skills I have now. Haha I think it turned out okay XD But looking back, I have NO idea what these creatures are! I think his name was Locho...
Lastly a new digital painting! This time I attempted to draw Trash as real as I could imagine him. Hahah what a scary chicken he would be in real life!

Probably my best digital painting EVAR :U It started from an art contest that said make a caricature of a character real or fictional. So if a real person make it a cartoon, or its a cartoon make them real.
So I chose Fibble and Sin from my comic, and tried to draw them REAL. (or at least semi-real). Haha I really liked how it came out! I could almost imagine that if they had a computer animated film or like something like Avatar or Final Fantasy (where the people are real but not), then this is what they might look like! XD
